A tractor equipped with the Soucy Track system will gain 330% more traction than a tractor with conventional tires. To obtain the same level of traction as the Soucy Track system, the tractor would need to have 8 rear tires and 6 front tires! The slip rate being inferior to 3%, the full power of the tractive force of your tractor is now available. This increased traction allows to do the same work using a tractor with less power.

Less compaction will increase the efficiency of your fields and will allow you to do much more and keep your equipment in perfect shape. The Soucy Track system reduces by 3 1/2 times the soil compaction. For example, a tractor of ±26 000 lbs will see its ground pressure go from 7,58 lbs/sq.in. to 2,29 lbs/sq.in. This is less pressure than what you produce when you walk! These pieces of information were obtained in the case where there is a 3 inches penetration without even considering the enormous weight that would need to be added to be able to work with tires.

The reduced amount of slipage combined to the low rolling resistance allow for optimal usage of the tractor power. You will discover a new life to your tractor by combining it with a Soucy Track system as you will be able to do more work with a smaller tractor.

The turning radius of the tracks are identical to wheels. This results in tight turns without a loss in power, therefore flexibility in your displacements. It is not necessary to block one side in order to turn. This will permit to preserve the land on which you're circulating and avoid the piling of dirt when you turn. You are therefore in total control of your equipment. The arched geometry of the front system was designed to minimize the effort demand on the steering system.

Because no tractor modification is required to install the Soucy Track system, the tractor stays 100% intact. You can very easily return to using the wheels whenever you want. The tractor height and ground clearance are identical as with the original wheels. The Soucy Track system is therefore the financially logical choice because your tractor will not be depriciated by the previous modifications when you resell it.

The efficiency of our system lies in its sturdy construction and easy maintenance. The one-piece moulded tracks require no maintenance whatsoever. Only regular greasing of the idler wheel axles and pivots,easily accessible, is required. The conical bearings and oil seals used are standard and therefore readily available. The main Soucy Track system components are designed and manufactured in our facilities :

• High quality steel frame, assembled with care;
• Heavy duty track is composed of industrial rubber and steel wire belting, perfectly adapted to any kind of task;
• The wheels are made of UHMW-PE (High Density Molecular Weight) plastic with a chemically bonded rubber band around the outside.
