The rubber tracks and the geometry of the system are designed to give a maximum of traction. The design of the 2 inches high lugs offer incredible and constant grab in the snow. With the addition of Soucy Track ice studs, you will get traction even on icy surfaces. The combination of the one-piece rubber track and multiple wheels assures the complete transfer of traction to the ground on the full width of the track which results in maximum efficiency. The configuration of the track lugs results in unequalled rolling comfort. The track design and idler wheel positioning were analysed and tested in order to reduce vibration level to the minimum.

The Soucy Track system was rigorously studied to put together a geometry that enables the vehicle to overcome large obstacles without difficulty. This geometry allows the track to be in constant contact with the ground and obtain the most from the traction, and still offer very good rolling comfort in rough terrain. In situations where the tractor must pull heavy loads or climb steep slopes, the weight of the tractor is transferred towards the rear track units.

The turning radius of the tracks are identical to wheels. This results in tight turns without a loss in power, therefore flexibility in your displacements. It is not necessary to block one side or articulate the vehicle in order to turn. You are therefore in total control of your equipment. It is also possible to work without the drag when it is not required. The arched geometry of the front system was designed to minimize the effort demand on the steering system.

Because no tractor modification is required to install the Soucy Track system, the tractor stays 100% intact. You can very easily return to using the wheels whenever you want. The tractor height and ground clearance are identical as with the original wheels. The Soucy Track system is therefore the financially logical choice because your tractor will not be depriciated by the previous modifications when you resell it. Also, additional benefits include the ability to rent the tractor from an owner or from a dealer for a predetermined time period during the year.

The efficiency of our system lies in its sturdy construction and easy maintenance. The one-piece moulded tracks require no maintenance whatsoever. No more need to change broken or worn out steel cleats or track joints! Only regular greasing of the idler wheel axles and pivots,easily accessible, is required. The conical bearings and oil seals used are standard and therefore readily available. The main Soucy Track system components are designed and manufactured in our facilities :

• High quality steel frame, assembled with care;
• Heavy duty track is composed of industrial rubber and steel wire belting, perfectly adapted to any kind of task;
• The wheels are made of UHMW-PE (High Density Molecular Weight) plastic with a chemically bonded rubber band around the outside.

Many trails use some paved roads. Steel tracks cause damage to many of our roads. The rubber tracks found on the Soucy Track system cause minimal damage to the roads, not to mention minimal vibration transfer to the cab and important components of the tractor.
