How do I install the S-TECH 1000G on my combine harvester?
You’ll be pleased to know that no changes are required to install the S-TECH 1000G on your combine harvester. You don’t need any special lifting tools or equipment other than a torque wrench. You will find detailed explanations for each of the steps to follow in the Soucy User Guide. S-TECH 1000G installation time is approximately 2 to 3 hours. Installation by at least 2 people is recommended to facilitate the work. Allow a track tension and tracking adjustment time of approximately one hour.
Should I use an adapter to install the S-TECH 1000G on my combine harvester?
No adapter is required to install the S-TECH 1000G track system on John Deere combine harvesters. However, an adapter may be required to install this system on other brands.
Can I drive on the road with the S-TECH 1000G?
Track wear is affected by the load and the time spent on the road or hard surfaces. To maximize S-TECH 1000G performance and minimize track wear, avoid driving with a cutting head installed on the combine harvester, if possible. Also, if you’re driving with a heavy load, make sure to reduce the speed and make stops en route.
What is the life span of the S-TECH 1000G?
The life span depends on track system maintenance, compliance with best practices and the type of soil. You will find all the information you need to maximize the life span of your S-TECH 1000G in your Soucy User Guide.
Does the S-TECH 1000G come with a warranty?
All new S-TECH 1000Gs sold by an authorized dealer are covered by a warranty. Details on the warranty and registration procedures for your track system can be found in your Soucy User Guide.
How often should I service the S-TECH 1000G?
With the new axle design using oil bath hubs, you no longer need to grease the axles daily or weekly. Just change the oil once a year or after 500 hours of use.
