Planter track system for sandy soils

Planters Field crops Planting
— Josh from Bishop Farms

I'm Josh from Bishop Farms. We farm in Park Rapids, Minnesota. Our very coarse sandy soil is extremely challenging, conventional tires tend to sink in the soft, dry sand.

Four years ago, we decided to invest in a track system for our planter. We needed a solution that could handle our difficult soils without rutting up fields.

Since we got the track system, it's been a game-changer. Our fields are much smoother now, and we're not dealing with ruts anymore, even with our heavy 24-row CCS planter.

We've put the track system on one planter so far, but we're so impressed with the results that we're definitely planning on getting Soucy tracks again for any future planter purchases.

Overall, I'd say if you're dealing with similar soil issues, investing in a track system like Soucy's is totally worth it. It's made a big difference for us, and I'm sure it could do the same for you.
